My bf and i had unprotected sex. Well technically, he tried putting his penis inside my vagina, but it wouldn't fit. He tried again like 3 times. I started bleeding, and we stopped because it was painful. He is positive he didnt come or ejaculate. My period is suppose to arrive sometime this week, and im waiting. Is there still a possiblity i may be pregnant? or am i just being paranoid?

cute_nicole,

Based on what you describe, you were a virgin attempting to have sex for the first time, correct? If you started to bleed and he never ejaculated, you will get your period as expected. I usually point out that pre-ejaculation can occur even without ejaculation, but in your case-- I think your boyfriend may have been so concerned with trying to get it in that this most likely did not happen.

Try not to stress out about it and wait for your period to arrive as expected.

Good Luck!

So there's no need for me to take Plan B?

Based on your description, PlanB is not needed. You likely will get your period this week as expected, and try to not put yourself at increased risk in the future. The withdrawal method of birth control is only about 70% effective, so arm yourself (or have your boyfriend) with condoms, or get on regular birth control pills. PlanB is not intended for use as normal contraception. It is supposed to be a last resort form of birth control when all other means fail (and it's expensive!). If you need more information, let us know.
