To answer your question, it is possible that you can become pregnant from pre-ejaculate, but not likely from your description if there was no penetration (he had his penis on the outside of your vagina, not inside). Getting pregnant depends on what part of your cycle you had unprotected genital-to-genital contact, so knowing when your period starts is good to start putting on a calendar.

oh--and most of the time, there is pre-ejaculate fluid on the tip of the penis when it is erect, whether or not you can see it.

Because we get questions about sex from teenagers so often, I was hoping I could ask you a question. If it's okay with you, would you mind telling me why you wrote your question here? Is it because you don't have anyone you can talk with about sex? We are so happy that you came here and you are welcome anytime to ask whatever question that you like. But when I've asked other teens this same question many of them reply that they just don't have anyone to talk to about stuff like this. So I'm always curious what each poster's situation is.

My only other question for you is where you were in your menstrual cycle when you were fooling around with your boyfriend. Did you just have your period or were you farther into the month? Are your periods pretty regular?
