Really heavy menstrual bleeding during HCG diet.

You all know that HCG is pregnancy hormone? in tern increases the lining of you uterus hence the heavy flow!

Does anyone have any suggestions concerning the heavy bleeding while on the HCG drops? I'm bleeding more than I ever have during a period. It's only been one day like this, but I can't let it go on too long. What have physicians said about this?

I bled so heavily after doing the hCG diet (homeopathic drops sold by a distributor) that I ended up needing iron infusions and having my heart monitored.

Ok..I almost died from the HCG my Chiropractor gave me...I hemorrhaged and ended up having an emergency hysterectomy. The stuff really is not what they claim please very careful!

Before HCG i had normal periods. then I went on HCG injections for 4 months and started getting long heavy periods. This went on and got worse and worse for the next 3 years until they got so heavy I couldn't leave the house and they lasted 30 days long. Im not one to go to the doctor until i absolutley have to. By time i finally went my iron was so low and I had to get on hormone therapy to get the bleeding to stop and had to get the NovaSure procedure. Now that I look back I think the HCG started all this by throwing off my hormone balance.
Anyone who has problem periods and is done having children I highly reccomend the NovaSure!!

Hello, I am experiencing the same, heavy bleeding during my period, 4 day bleeding lasted 8 days. And a week later after it stopped, I start to bleed again!!! Has anybody talked to the doctors about it, and what have they suggested woman should do in this case?

I too am having a long heavy period with clots. 17 days now. I stopped the injections days ago & still I am on my period with no end in site. Not sure why HCG does this to so many women.

I am on day 11 of Hcg injections. My period started on day 8, my cramps and blood flow have been very heavy, my period would normally be gone in 4 days, but I'm still on my period and it's heavy with clots. Im scared because I don't know if I should stop the injections. I just wish my period would end.

I am on Depo and haven't had a period in 5 years. I was on HCG injections to start and never had any bleeding. I recently switched to drops and started having break through bleeding. I was told to stop the drops until the bleeding stopped by my doctor that gave me the drops. I am only concerned with maintaining the 500 calories without the drops. And of course gaining weight back and having to start over.

I started the diet on 1-1-12. I got on the internet to find out if anyone else was experiencing the same thing. I was prescribed my hcg injections by a doctor. I have lost 19.4 lbs since the first and feel great other than the serious bleeding. I was due for my period on the 8th and got it. I had an Extremely HEAVY period for 5 days. The five days was normal but it was Heavy the whole time and ended abruptly there was no light days at the end like normal. A week later I had and still and having another extremely heavy period but the blood is Brown and black it almost feels like I am ovulating? I can feel my Fallopian tubes pulsating which is what it used to do 2weeks before I go my period? I have left a voice mail for the Dr. and only have one day left of my injections so I'm wondering if this is what everyone else is going through or if I should be worried? I am 26 years old I was 169.8 on the first and I weighed in at 150.4 this morning the 26th. I never stopped taking the HCG during my period because the Dr. had told me not to and It didn't effect my weight loss at all. Other than the bleeding and the pulsating feelings I am having no pain or cramps???
