I a 28 yr old female, with 2 children ages 5 & 6 and my husband is 30 yrs old and asked me a question today that brought me at a stand still. His question was why dont i want to have as much sex as he does? He stated he wants to have sex twice a day and I only have sex if he ask's me if we are going to have sex or not. My question is: Is it normal for me not be want to have as much sex as him or dow i suffer from a low sex drive. I do want to have sex but not as much as him. I should mention in my previous marriage we went 6 months without having sex because we were on the brink of divorce. Could that have played a part in me not wanting to have alot of sex? Please any answer and suggestions would help!

Thanxs

Sincerely,

It is a very common issue among couples. Men think about sex and what sex much more frequently than women. Many factors can lower a woman's libido, especially fatigue from caring for two young children, stress from running a household or employment. Here is an article on Low Sex Drive in Women; http://health.msn.com/health-topics/sexual-health/womens-sexual-health/articlepage.aspx?cp-documentid=100186622
