i've been taking the pill for a bit more than 8 months now, never missing a day but sometimes being a few hours late. last week, i had to wait 4 days to get a new pack after finishing one. i got back on for 6 days, and on the sixth day, my boyfriend's condom broke. i don't think he ejaculated inside of me, and most of the semen was still in the condom, but there's was definitely a hole where some could have come out. is it possible that i could get pregnant? should i get a morning after pill?

Dear jennifer6,

Thank you for your message.

There is some risk. However, the choice to take plan b is up tp you. We cannot make that decision for you.

Thank you for answering my question. Just one more- What would you do if you were in this situation? Do you think getting the pill is a smart decision if you're not looking to have a baby?

Hi,

If I felt better taking it than not taking it, yes. Every woman if different, every comfort level is different.
