Hello Anonymous!
Welcome to EmpowHer! I'm very glad that you've found us. Diane P. has given you a lot of great information but I wanted to say hello as well and let you know that you are more than welcome to visit here anytime you want. While the site is primarily for women I want all people to feel welcome to visit and ask questions or comment. We have had lots of men come on here and ask questions about their wives, daughters, moms, etc. And like Diane said, if you have a question about your own health and can't find the answers you want, please feel free to ask it here!
I've had people ask me to start a men's site just like EmpowHer. Do you think something like that would be helpful? Thank you again for your post, best in health, Michelle

Hi, Anon, and welcome to EmpowHer!
You're right, this site is all about women's health. We focus on women's health issues, sexuality and bodies as our primary mission. Many times a question is interesting to both genders, and we have men who read, comment and ask questions from time to time.
Our founer, Michelle King Robson, started this site after she went through a health crisis of her own and wasn't able to find enough information about what was going on. She wanted women to be able to share their own experiences and expertise with other women so that others in her situation wouldn't feel so all alone.
As far as men's sites with similar missions, I'm not sure if one exists on the men-sharing-with-men model. However, here are some good men's medical and health sites that might have what you're looking for:
http://www.menshealth.com/cda/homepage.do
http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/menshealth.html
http://www.cdc.gov/men/
http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/mens-health/MY00394
http://www.menshealthnetwork.org/
http://men.webmd.com/
Good luck with your search! And if you can't find any information on the topic you're seeking, come on back and we'll give it a whirl.
