ive posted 2 questions and no one is commenting or giving me answers. so please someone answer me...

i missed 2 pills in week 1 of my active pills but i took all 3 pills the next day. i had unprotected sex on the days i forgot to take my pills. on the day i took all the pills i bled a little, but it was really watery blood. i stopped that night. now its time for my period on the inactive pills and its late. i bled a little on the 4th day of my inactive pills but its stopped over night. and then i bled a little on the 5th day but it again stopped over night.

do you think i could be pregnant or is it just side effects from taking 3 pills at once?
please help!

Be sure to read your patient information brochure that comes with your pill; I do not know of any that says to take 3 pills at once! The correct way to take any missed pills (and save yourself the stress of irregular, breakthrough bleeding like you've experienced) is to "double-up" after the missed pills. For example, if you missed the 2 pills-in-a-row on Friday and Saturday:
Sunday: take Friday's missed pill and Sunday's regular pill
Monday: take Saturday's missed pill and Monday's regular pill
Tuesday: take one pill a day as usual

Be sure to talk with your doctor/nurse about how to correctly take missed pills if you are still uncertain, as this is very important to understand your medication.

Your irregular bleeding could very-well be from the irregular use of birth control pills in your system; there is also a slight chance of pregnancy with missed pills. It is best to call your doctor.

You might consider calling your GYN doctor and asking this question since they know the type of pill you are on. You could always print out what you wrote here and fax it to the doctors office or to the doctor's nurse to discuss so it is clear what pills you took and missed. You should also let them know the other days of the month you had sex.

Since the pill "takes over" your body's cycle it is hard to know when you might ovulate if you miss pills.
