Hi, I'm wondering what organ is on the lowest left side of the back? I want to know about this because I feel lots of pain in this area and I'm trying to figure which doctor I should see for this. From my lower left side of my back I feel burning and painful sensation all the way to my left leg. I also feel pain below the left side of my stomach. Two days I have no bowel movement and when it comes it's all loose. I can't understand what's wrong and which doctor to go to. I was feeling fine I don't know why I'm feel like this. I'm feeling nausea and have no appetite. Do you think it's kidney or colon related?

Do you think things like tums or pepto bismol help such matter?

If a person goes to emergency room for such matter do you think they keep you over night? Is it true going emergency they take lots of time until you get your turn to see the doctor?

Please let me know about these soon.

Thank You,
Melissa

Hi Melissa6666,

Welcome to EmpowHER.  Pain in your lower back can be due to a kidney infection, herniated disc, a pinch nerve, kidney stone.  If you see your primary care physican he will know what testings to do and what you should take for this pain.  We can't tell you what to take.
