This month is being very weird for my period. my husband and I are trying to conceive so im keeping an eye on things. My periods since the surgery have been very normal 4-6 days in length with all reg symptoms but nothing serious. However this month my period started about 11 am on the 18th very light more a pinkish brown color than anything else on the 19th it was a normal flow very red a few small clotts and then today the 20th it is a light brownish color almost non-existant. I have no craps or other symptoms like norm. I have had low back pain for a few weeks now just enough to have a heating pad on a nightly basis :( also I am exshausted have been for about the same amout of time as the back pain start. now this week I have a decline in appetite and I have gained about 2 lbs which is not norm I stay stead on my weight even when my period hits. So im curious if I could be pregnant or if I am just having an off month? I did take a test 2 days before my period and it came back negative. Also I tend to ovulate maybe 5 days or less before my period. So that is all I can think of, please let me know what you think soon.

I am wondering if your symptoms might be related to a medical not reproductive problem. Do you have an internist or primary care physician? If so, give him or her a call and report your symptoms. It's worth a try.

I don't what else I can add. Wait and see what happens with your period. If you do not have a period next month, you can make an appointment with your gynecologist to have an exam and a blood pregnancy test. As a precaution, take extra good care of yourself, such as no alcohol, healthy diet and plenty of rest, just in case you are pregnant.

Hi,
You mention that your periods have been normal since having surgery. What type of surgery did you have? Generally, a home pregnancy test is done once your period is one week late. It is hard to say if the low back pain, fatigue, loss of appetite and recent weight gain are all related to one problem. I suggest you call your doctor and explain all that you have mentioned above.

I have endometriosis, I had a laposcopy (sorry if spelling is off) to clean it up and give us a chance to conceive doc said everything turned out ok all my parts are strong and health he cleaned out several problem areas and said we shouldnt have any problems concieve soon. Today I have spotted very lightly its a brownish color and my low back and hips are a naging pain cramping lightly and so forth. I do know my ovulation is not norm and Ive been tracking my bbt....today it has jumped from a constent daily 97.2 to 97.5. I cant think of anything else you may need to know so just ask please. I called my doctor and all they can say is its norm since I have the endo. and all but I dont think it is.
