Hello and thank you in advance to all who try to help =)
I had my tubes tied after my last pregnancy (17 months ago) and since then I have not paid much attention to what day of the month my period starts. I do know I had my period in February (my guess is I started on the 14th or 21st - it was a Sat. and towards the later part of the month) and it's now going on April and I have not had a period. I know it's very unlikely that I could get pregnant after having my tubes tied BUT I conceived my three boys extremely easily. I'm just a fertile mertile ;) So, I do not doubt my bodies ability to get pregnant. I did take a pregnancy test last thursday (March 26) and it was negative. I don't currently have health insurance, if I did I would just make an appt to see my Doctor. What are your thoughts? Think I could be pregnant? FYI my periods are never late. If anything they come early and they last abour 7-8 days (ugh!!).

P.S. If I were indeed pregnant would I get a positive pregnancy test if it was an ectopic pregnancy?

Remember every month it's going to be a different date I get mine every 27 days and some months there more or less days so that never gives me the same time every month.

I went to the doctor last week and she said everything was fine, but I'm still having discomfort in my stomach. So, ny primary doctor referred me to a gastro specialist to look into it further. My stomach is still expanding and I'm gaining 1 to 2 lbs. a week. I will keep everyone posted on the results. God Bless.

Hello I got my tubes tied 07/01/2012 and i took a pregnancy test 2 days ago because my period was missing and it showed positive for pregnant and i just came on my period is it possible that i could be pregnant?

I'm sorry but I had a period first 3 months with my first son. Just spotting but still. My last two boys I bleed like a normal period. I was told by Dr my body was trying to abort. So go home put my legs up. This went on for about a week. So yes yes u can still bleed and be pregnant. Further more on another of my preg I woke up blood gushing every were I was only 2 moths oreg. They said I misscaried. 3 months later found out I was 6 months pregnant and lost a twin.

If you are having your period, you are not pregnant. I cannot explain the positive pregnancy test result. If you have any further questions or concerns. please contact your gynecologist.

This is not true. I had my period, a regular period, for 7 months when I was pregnant with my daughter.

I was 3 months pregnant and was still on my period so it is possible to have your period and be pregnant.
