My menstruation cycle was 26 days. This changed when I had my child. It's now irregular at times twice a month. At times it will also be 35days cycle. I also want to have another child which has taken me three years. Any advice?

Hi Anon,

Thank you for sharing your questions with the EmpowHER community.

There are a plethora of reasons why women experience irregular periods/menstrual cycles.  Stress, medications, increased exercise, diet, etc.

Normal menstrual cycles last anywhere from 21-35 days, and irregular cycles up to 45 days.

With regards to becoming pregnant, work with your doctor for recommendations on what you personally should do to improve your chances of conceiving.

Also, there are some awesome apps out there to help you track ovulation, fertility, menstrual cycle, etc.
