I had unprotected sex a week ago now and I've just got my period today, but it's three days late ... I understand that I can't tell this month if Im pregnant or not as I have just had sex a week ago and this maybe an ordinary period for me!!
Help!! Thank you.

May 6, 2011 - 7:11amThank you for your question and for being a part of the EmpowHER community. If you have your period now, regardless if it was late or not, you likely aren't pregnant. It still is important as you suggested to not put yourself at increased risk in this next menstrual cycle to ensure you do not end up pregnant.
