The pain started last January and I was at my kidney doctor and I've been over to pick up something and she said it would not be my kidneys because it wouldn't hurt when I bend over I've had test cats cans colonostrophy and they come back and say it's muscle spasms can it be possible that you have muscle spasms for 6 months I still have pain in my back they give me some muscle spasm medicine but it's still not stopped I still have the stabbing pains and pain in my back upper back around my ribs which would feel like my kidneys to me and the jabbing pains Like a Knife sticking me inside out all the way from my left side into the middle of my stomach do you have any suggestions of what it could be I would appreciate it very much thank you

Back spasms can be chronic depending on the condition. Pain can radiate to the waist and flanks. Have you seen a back specialist or chiropractor? Maybe some physical therapy can help as well as a home exercise program. You have had several tests to rule out anything more serious, which is good.
