There are a variety of conditions that may cause numbness, pain and burning knee pain. If the pain and sensation are in a specific area, it is important to mention it to your doctor for a proper diagnosis. An x-ray may be needed. Some causes might be bursitis, arthritis, an injury or infection of some sort.
