What causes shivering and left side abdominal pain?

Appendicitis usually causes right lower pain, but sometimes left lower abdominal pain can also happen. Some other things that can also cause pain can be muscle pain, endometriosis, ovarian cysts, intestinal obstruction and other reasons.

Shivering can mean you are cold or even that you have a fever. Underweight women can feel the cold more than normal or over-weight women. Heart disease, diabetes or anemia are also reasons.
