what does it mean when fluid changes color, have had 3 drainings first 2 dark brown, last one was lite yellow does anyone know?

No, he's on a respirator and its being drained out through a tube.

There are many different things that cause pleural effusions. Are you talking about a pleural effusion that was caused by some sort of trauma?

We think it was congenitive heart failure.
