I assume you mean White Matter Disease?

White matter disease is the wearing away of tissue in the largest and deepest part of your brain due to aging.

Age-related white matter disease is progressive, meaning it can get worse. But there are ways to keep it from spreading. Below is a good resource I hope will be helpful.
