i'm 18 & ive been on my period going on 17 days which have been extremely heavy & have very large clots... some nights have woke up to blood everywhere and have to change tampon about every hour . the past 2 days have lightened up slightly but am still slightly concerned..... also i'm rarely having any problems with cramping....

You must be seen by a gynecologist. Prolonged bleeding is abnormal and is putting you at risk for iron deficiency anemia.
Please keep us updated once you have seen a doctor.
