Are some hair dyes better than others?
I used to use henna which is a natural hair dye and now use an-over-the counter, when I feel like jazzing up my look.
I notice that my hair can look a little brassy, even if I don't get my hair in chlorine or lie in the sun.
Are natural hair dyes (like ones found at the Body Shop) better than the ones in drug stores? Spending $$ at a salon would be nice but not really an option for me right now, even if I am 'worth it'! :)

Bargain Lover,
I love the post 'even though I am worth it.' Woman are always worth it!!!!
I first wanted to share some health risks from dying your hair that was provided from WebMd. It appears that there are some chemicals used in hair dyes that may cause cancer and should be avioded if necessary. You can read more on this subject at the following website.

There are chemical(less) products on the market that do provide natural hair dyes including as you metioned henna. There are limited color choices when it comes to henna though....and there is still damage to your hair although not so severe.
If Men only knew the price of beauty. Did this help?
