Most often pelvic pain and a discharge with an odor means some sort of infection process, whether a sexually transmitted infection, or just some other type of pelvic infection.
It is important to see a health care provider about this so you can treat it before it becomes severe. Some infections can cause permanent problems if they are not treated.
