Hello rarerity,

Welcome to the EmpowHER community. We cannot prescribe medication. The reason for your late period must be determined.

You would not be pregnant if you have not had unprotected sex since your last period.

Other factors, such as stress, can cause a delay in the start of your period. Try to relax and your period may start in the next few days.

Maryann

Hello rarerity,

This additional information changes my answer. There is a chance that you are pregnant and that is why your period is late to start.

The withdrawal method is not a good method of birth control.

If you do not start your period within the next six days, please take a pregnancy test or call your doctor who can order a blood pregnancy test.

Regards,
Maryann
