Q:

What's the difference between regular discharge and signs of a yeast infection?

I'm 15 and for about a year now I've had vaginal discharge. I heard that it is normal but it's usually and white color with no odor. Mine is yellowish mildly thick and has an odor. I can feel it when I walk or sit down. So is this normal or could it be a yeast infection or bacterial vaginosis or cervical cancer. And I'm a virgin so I know it can't be an STI. I'm too embarrased to talk to my mom about it or my doctor because I've had a yeast infection before so I don't really want to go back. And I missed my period this month but have been spotting. So i'm confused. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
