I has sex for the first time on Feb 25th around midnight. This was 2 days after my period ended. The condom broke but my boyfriend didn't ejaculate at all. On March 1 at 8am I took plan b as a precaution. I went on antibiotics on March 6-17 because I had an abscess. My roommate is on birth control and is going to get her period on March 21. She has changed mine before. Right now I have clear drainage and bloating. I'm not tender, have nausea, or spotting. Am I freaking out for nothing? Is my period just going to be late?

Hi psu1217,
Thank you for your question and welcome to EmpowHer! First, you have 72 hours to take Plan B after a questionable sexual experience and it appears that by March 1st, you had already went over the 72 hour timeframe. Do not be alarmed as this will not cause any harm although this may cause irregular periods for your next couple cycles so don't be alarmed.
As many women ovulate differently, I cannot say for certain that two days after your period ended that you would not be ovulating but it would be pretty uncommon. I think it is safe to say that the chances of pregnancy are slim to none in your case.
I know you are concerned about pregnancy and freaking out right now so try to calm down and if necessary, take a pregnancy test at the end of this month if you have not had a period yet. As I mentioned earlier, taking Plan B causes irregular periods for many users and this is common. From what I have seen, it takes 2 to 3 months for regular periods to continue.
If you have any additional questions, please feel free to ask but waiting for a missed period is what you will have to do for now.
I hope this helps.
