Why am I moody and my periods have stopped?

There's 100% NO chance I'm pregnant. Whatsoever. The last time I had my period was October, which is EXTREMELY abnormal for me. I struggled with anorexia a few years ago, and even in the depths of my disorder my period was never absent like this. Im constantly moody, and it's starting to interfere with my regular life. I'm almost 17 years old, 5'3" and about 100 pounds. I have no idea what's wrong with me.

When you had the physical exam about 2 weeks ago, did you tell your health care provider that you have not had a period since October?

yes i did. they said it was because of malnourishment, but I'm not sure that i actually believe that because of my past struggle with anorexia, i feel like they may have assumed i wasn't eating instead of actually trying to find a cause. i don't think its because of malnutrition.

When was the last time you had a complete medical physical?
Three months without a menstrual period is abnormal. I am thinking there may be a hormonal imbalance or nutritional deficiency at the root of your problem.
