There are many reasons for hair loss. Stress, illness, and childbirth can cause temporary hair loss. Ringworm caused by a fungal infection, thyroid disease or an autoimmune disease may cause alopecia. We can't say what might be causing your hair loss. You need to be evaluated by your doctor to determine what might be going on.
