I'm a 31 year old woman who has been sexually active since I was 20. I have been able to reach orgasm solo since I was 12 with no issues. I've had several partners of the years but I have never once had an orgasm with any of them no matter now hard I try. I will feel like I'm getting close but then it just doesn't happen. I've never told a partner this and always have faked it. What's wrong with me?

Many women (and men) have difficulty reaching orgasm with a partner, even after ample sexual stimulation. Orgasmic dysfunction affects (approximately) one in three women. So you are not alone! What causes orgasmic dysfunction can vary person to person. Difficulty reaching orgasm can be due to physical, emotional or psychological factors.
