Hi.. I finished my period last week and for two days my vagina itched badly and that seems to have gone. For the last two days I've noticed a smell.. It's not overly impleasant but I want to know what it could be.. Please help!!

September 13, 2015 - 11:03pmVaginal odor, especially coupled with itching or burning indicates an infection. It could be Bacterial Vaginosis or a yeast infection. Yeast infections can go away by themselves. But a bacterial infection should be treated with medication. I highly suggest that you see a gynecologist right away and have a pap smear. Planned parenthood often has appointments sooner than a regular gynecologist.
