Right after we got married 2 years ago my husband stopped wanting to have sex. We had a converstation about it twice and he's gone to see our family doctor about it. The doctor gave him Steroid Shots and depression/anxeity pills but they haven't helped. We still have the same problem. He tells me that he just doesn't want sex! He said that he used to walk anywhere and think "she's hot" and get excited and now he doesn't even find any woman attractive "sexually" anymore. The doc and he don't know what is wrong! I'm finding it really upsetting and I can't stop thinking about it! I brought it up today which was a bad idea of course! I just don't know what to do anymore. Thats why I'm asking you. Do you have any ideas/ suggestions? Anything please? Thanks!

Hello Anonymous,
My heart goes out to you. A decrease in sexual desire is a side effect of antidepressants and anti-anxiety medications. So, these medications will not help your husband with his low libido.
Have you both considered counseling with a therapist or psychologist who specializes in sexual dysfunction issues?
I hope that I am not being too bold, but, has your husband had a change in sexual orientation?
