Hello Anonymous,
Welcome to EmpowHER and thank you for coming to us for help with your concern about a late period and no sexual activity.
If your periods have normally been regular, and depending on your age, perimenopause could be the reason. During perimenopause, fluctuations in estrogen levels lead to irregular menstrual cycles. Some women start perimenopause as early as their late 40s.
If you are younger, a hormonal imbalance caused by PCOS or polycystic ovarian syndrome, high stress levels, excessive weight gain or excessive weight loss, thyroid disorder or extreme exercising can cause you to miss a period.
Please consult your gynecologist. With a physical exam blood tests and evaluating your medical history, a reason can be determined.
