Exreme backache. Doctors found arthritis along spine and spurs in shoulder but also says friend has staph and they did the drug induced coma.
I heard no staph in organs and a spinal is being done to see if in brain.

Without knowing the specifics of the patient's case, I cannot comment on why a drug induced coma was initiated.

In general, a drug induced coma is done to control serious pain experienced by certain hospitalized patients.
