why would i have pain under the middle of my breast and down to my belly button

On which side of your body is the pain? Is it a sharp or dull pain? Is it constant or does it come and go? When did the pain start? What were you doing when the pain started? Does any thing relieve or worsen the pain? Are you having any other symptoms.
