I am on the yaz pill and have been since August 2010. I have a very regular mensutrual cycle with and without the pill. I missed my Yaz pills twice in a row then made up for it by taking two a day but overall I have not been regular with taking my pills on time. I would often forget and make up for it the next day. My husband and I had sex many time during the 3rd week in which I forgot my pills twice in a row. I checked and this was also the time I was to be ovulating April 14th till 19th. My husband and I then went on vacation and had sex on the 22nd of April I started spoting very light pinkish brown blood that only lasted for a couple of hours and that day I felt really low on energy. Then I was fine the next day continued on my vacation. I came back and today april 28th in the morning I started bleeding with light cramps like I am on my period now reqularly I always start my period on sunday and I am very regular. So I am wondering if I could be pregnant or whats going on? Also when the spotting occoured during my vacation I took a pill for two days then thought i might be pregnant and did not want to risk taking birth control so i stopped but it was the last few pills including the four sugar pills and I am meant to start a new pack this sunday. Could I still be pregnant even though I am bleeding lightly and have light cramps? Please Help! Don't know whats going on with my body? I never spot or start my period early - Just very regular in my menstrual cycle.

There is always a chance of pregnancy even if you take your birth control on time...as nothing has a 100% guarentee. However, there is always a better chance of spotting when you miss pills as you did so this, I would say, is very common.
As there is no clear answer to YES or NO that you are pregnant...you will have to wait for a missed period and try a pregnancy test. The waiting game can always be THE LONGEST, but could you keep us posted?
