One of the most exciting and beautiful stages in a woman’s life is motherhood. Although it comes with several physical changes, there is nothing that cannot be dealt with. These changes vary from one woman to another but the most common postpartum changes include unsightly stretch marks, patchy skin color and darkened warts on the body, face and neck. Some postpartum problems may disappear after a while but others may take a longer time. There several non-invasive beauty treatments that a woman can go for after childbirth to solve common postpartum problems. The most common beauty treatments after pregnancy are as explained below.
Mesohair
Hair thinning is experienced by most expectant mothers. The condition is referred to as telogen effluvium which occurs when the hair enters a resting phase. Mesohair is the treatment undertaken in case hair thinning becomes alarming. The treatment involves injection of vitamins through the scalp to stop hair loss and stimulate hair growth. A minimum of 10 sessions of the treatment once every week is preferable.
Electrocautery
This treatment is done to remove skin tags or polyps and flat warts that develop on the body, face and neck particularly on folds like armpits and beneath the breasts. Electrocautery is safe and effective and can be done after delivery.
Postnatal spa treatments
Childbirth is difficult and intense that requires a woman to get enough rest for quick and proper recovery. Besides losing the extra pounds that you gained during pregnancy, it is essential to keep you body in perfect shape. Postnatal spa treatments are available to help women get their sexy bodies back. Wraps, massages, hydrotherapy treatments including aquaerobics, water jets and hydro massage baths and exercises can help you shed off extra pounds, improve fitness and get you back into shape. Therefore, take advantage of the spa deals and enjoy the relaxing and invigorating environment.
Rejuvenation laser
This is another beauty treatment meant to stimulate the hair follicles promoting hair growth. Low intensity laser dilates the blood vessels enhancing circulation within the hair follicles. It can be started immediately after breastfeeding and can be performed twice weekly for at least 20 sessions.
Carboxytherapy
Stretch marks are a headache for many women not only those who are expectant. Carboxytherapy is a treatment for stretch marks where a limited quantity of carbon dioxide is injected just beneath the skin surface. It allows collagen to form and restructure. Now you can flaunt you tummy in a bikini after having a baby without feeling uncomfortable about it. 10 sessions are ideal weekly.
Mesotherapy
One inevitable effect of pregnancy is weight gain. The ugly bulges may be quite annoying especially if you adore a slender body. Excess fats and loosening of skin as a result of weight gain can be treated through Mesotherapy.
Pigmentation treatments
Darkened areas of the body can be enlightened by applying bleaching creams that contain arbutin and licorice. You can begin pigmentation treatment after delivery. However, strong depigmenting creams that contain Retin-A, oral whitening capsules and hydroquinone are not safe for use when a woman is still breastfeeding. A mother should not compromise the health of her baby in the name of beauty.
Postpartum changes can lower your self esteem and confidence. However, with the above beauty treatments you can still feel and look beautiful after having a baby.

I was beside myself when I noticed hair loss after my pregnancy - I had stretch marks AND was losing my hair? Noooo! I looked at a lot of different supplements and read a lot of reviews- I decided on hair vitamins from a company called Nourage, and they actually worked- I see little hairs growing in now. Love the blog- thanks for the info!
