Help me please! I have had pain for years, all over my body. It started when I was in my late 20's. I'm now 48 and feel 98.
When I went to doctors and told them I was hurting, they mostly poo-pooed my pain telling me I couldn't feel that bad. So I kept on going and going regardless of the pain. I suffer from migraine, sinus and just general stress headaches.
I have progressed from going to a GP to a Rheumatologist. The first RA I saw said "Oh you have Fibromyalgia" put me on meds and didn't listen to me after that. The second RA diagnosed me as having mild RA. But the pain still exists. My RA doctor sent me to a nerve specialist who has diagnosed me with Neuropathy. Still the pain exists. Now I'm being sent to a Neurologist. I haven't seen him yet.
My pain is an all over pain. When I get up in the morning I can barely walk. It takes a while to get going but still the pain exists. I can do some things during the morning but by Noon or 1 p.m. I'm done for the day, all I want to do is rest and even that doesn't help. I don't even want to "be" with my husband. ( I have the best husband, he help me and does things for me when he can. ) I work a full-time job and I "have" to work with this economy. I'm just so tired of hurting and not being able to function. What is wrong with me????
