It always cracks me up to see all of the supposed "cellulite busters" out there in the marketplace. You can choose from creams, lotions, injections, etc., and absolutely none of it works. So when I recently visited Joey Atlas' web site where he talks about getting rid of cellulite, I was very, very skeptical. But, he made some good points, so I decided to try his exercise videos. What the heck -- at least I knew it would be healthy for me.
Well, I thought I was in pretty good shape to begin with.... Afterall, I ran in a half-marathon just this past January and run about 4-6 miles several times a week. I also cycle, lift weights twice a week, swim, do yoga, and generally chase after my three crazy kids. But, after two weeks so far of doing Joey's exercises that specifically target the leg/thigh/hip/butt area three times a week, I'm definitely feeling a difference in muscles that I didn't even know I have. I'm looking forward to seeing what impact they have on me and next week will be adding his abdominal exercises to my routine as well.

So I've been doing Joey's program for about 4 weeks and honestly, I am actually seeing a difference in the mirror. It kind of freaks me out. I had no idea that it was possible for exercises to really target cellulite like this.....

How much does he charge for the videos or are they on line for free?

He charges $39.97 for his "Ultimate Leg, Butt, Hip & Thigh Makeover" DVDs. I'm now halfway into my third week and I'm really feeling a difference -- especially my hips and butt. I'm feeling like these are the most effective exercises I've ever done for my lower body. I'll keep you updated.....
One thing about Joey is that he offers a money back guarantee if you're not satisfied, which is cool. He definitely believes in what he does. You can buy the videos here:

Hello Kristin, I just saw this old posting while looking around for cellulite busting exercises/solutions. Are you still doing this workout? Would you be interested in selling your DVDs?

I've tried a lot of things, including creams and some tight "hugging" pants that I wear when I exercise. But I've never been able to get rid of cellulite on my hips. I've about given up. Do you really think these exercises that you're doing would help with this? I can't afford lipo but just hate my body when I look in the mirror because of my hips.

You go girl! I don't think there's a woman out there -- short of porn stars, maybe -- who thinks she has the perfect caboose. I've never fallen for the creams or gels or vibrating thigh belts and whatever else is out there, either but it seems tried-and-true exercise might actually might make a difference.
What is your measure for success? The tape measure? The scale? The mirror?
And how long do you have to keep this up?

Thanks for the encouragement!!
You know, I've never really noticed my backside until lately, I guess because I've hit my mid-40's and my old bikinis aren't quite fitting the way I'd remembered.... Maybe having had three pregnancies and spending all day sitting at a desk for so many years is catching up to me. :)
Anyway, I rarely weigh myself, and I'm happy with my weight, so that's not an issue. For me, it's about being fit and firm. So I'll be checking out the mirror to see if those lovely cellulite bumps "back there" start to disappear. Joey says I should be seeing results in a few weeks, and he has a program that you can keep doing for "maintenance" for the rest of your life.
I really like the exercises. He's got a great video where he does every single exercise with you. I've never been a fan of floor exercises, but these are actually not bad to do and I like how they really target specific areas.

I would like to know what you'll need if you buy the DVD's to do the exercises?
