I gathered infomation on the use of Garlic and Ginger paste, which I blend together and coat the affected areas from my knee down to my elbows. I leave this paste for about 10/20 mins, and then, will apply a local Nigerian rub called "Ori", (sorry I dont know the English name). This I will mix together with Kerosene and massage intensively, until all the affected areas get hot. I use this only in the night hours, and wash it off in the morning, because of the odour. I have been using this for the past two months, and there is a great improvement, and I can walk freely now unlike before. Anyone who suffers this, should give it a trial, I am of the opinion that this will help. In addition, I also take some recommended Ibu-Profen tablets with felven 20, and perilon. This combination has been of great help to me. Thank you.

Dear Rosa
Thanks for your response. I posted the above information on Artrithis, especially, on severe pains and stiffness of one's knees. The "kerosene" is the normal combustible oil, widely used in Africa - Nigeria, for cooking.
Thanks.

Dear Anon,
Thank you for sharing. Can you tell us what condition you used this for? I'm sure it will help our readers understand a little more if we know what you have successfully used it for.
Also, is this Kerosene as in the combustible oil? Or did you mean something else?
Thanks!
Rosa
