GMO’s, pesticides, toxins, organic, natural… these are all buzzwords that are running rampant in the media lately. With all the of the controversial information out there how do we go about choosing the healthiest foods?
Is Organic worth the money?
The short answer is YES! Choosing foods that do not contain pesticides, toxins and synthetic fertilizers is a great idea, but the added cost can be difficult to adjust to. No matter what the item, always be sure to properly wash your produce. And remember that whole foods are always a better choice than processed ones. Just because a processed food is marked “organic” or “all-natural” does not necessarily mean that it is a healthy choice.
