It's cheaper than joining a gym, you just need shoes and a road. You can listen to music, be in complete silence, run with friends, be alone, run fast, slow, run long, run short; it can be anything you need at that time of day. It clears your head. It makes you happy. And you can join free running clubs where you have guidance and support.
Why did you start running?

Hi milestogo!
Thank you for returning to the EmpowHER community and sharing information about running! Your post reminds of the scene from What Women Want with Helen Hunt and Mel Gibson about women running for the Nike ad campaign!
I love your suggestion of joining free running clubs so that you can get guidance and support. Great tip!
Thanks milestogo!
Best,
Kristin
