constant bleeding with large blood clots , and gp ignorance

are there any women here having this problem and being fobbed off by the gp ? please be warned , have had months of problems and now at last have to go and have surgery ! listen to your body NOT A GP WHO THINKS YOU ARE AN ATTENTION SEEKER ! do not give up , u might end up in the same situation
you are hemorrhaging it sounds like...which is not good at all! My period just never stopped and i was also passing large clots and having to use tampons plus pads. My OB-gyn took this very seriously as a person can die from blood loss.
December 7, 2012 - 11:33amGo to your OB better call so you can get in ASAP. There are different things they can do to try and stop the bleeding but first you need to know the cause. Not too worry you but it can be sign of certain cancers. Most likely it is beginning of menopause. I hope this helps..so call today and tell them how long and how often you need to change pads etc.
I bet you get in today or tomorrow..monday if friday. They might have you go to ER if you begin to bleed worse....so call please asap. good luck and hope it helps you
