Lois explains if she regrets waiting to undergo heart surgery and shares if the heart valve replacement procedure was as scary as she had anticipated.
Lois:
That’s a hard question. Actually I think that maybe it was a good thing I waited this long because it was so successful and it scares me to think that maybe if I had it earlier it wouldn’t have been the same thing. So that’s kind of silly, but it’s kind of the way I feel at this point.
I heard they break your bone in your chest and go in it kind of. I don’t think I want that and that was foolish of me because I could be dead by now.
No because my situation was so ridiculous at that time as far as what was happening in my body, I just said, “Go ahead do it; if I go I go. If I don’t, fine.” It was a point where, you know, “Let’s just get this over with whether it’s yea or nay.”
