Healthy Liver Can Mean Healthy Skin

The condition of your skin can mirror the overall health of your liver. Toxins can cause inflammation that may show up in recurrent skin problems, such as dermatitis or eczema, rashes, hives, psoriasis, liver spots and wrinkles.

Conventional skin creams or drugs can suppress the condition but ultimately there may be side effects. If you're interested in a natural approach for the health of your liver that may reduce inflammation and contribute to detoxification, there are a number of options available to you.

You can take a liver tonic which helps contribute to detoxification and elimination of toxins. You can take omega 3 supplements. You can take selenium, vitamin D or iodine. Raw juices help to reduce inflammation and clear the skin. Look into any food intolerances you may have, especially gluten intolerance.

"Stress, unresolved emotional conflicts, suppression of emotions, lack of sleep or excess alcohol intake will overload your nervous system and may manifest as recurrent skin problems. Try to get more sleep and talk to friends and family to ease your burden."
