Recently the Mayo Clinic reported some interesting information on supplements that you can use to reduce anxiety. Here are a few of the supplements they mention.

Kava is an herb that promotes relaxation. However, if you have any problems with your liver, or if you take any kind of medication for your liver, you should use kava with care.

Valerian helps many people relax and sleep. Valerian has also been used with success to reduce anxiety.

Vitamin B complex are supplements that have been around a long time and are taken for overall health because of the number of body processes in which they play an active and essential role. Inositol in particular can impact the production of brain chemicals which are known as neurotransmitters, and consequently help to reduce anxiety.

"All supplements should be cleared with a doctor and one should make sure that they are safe and won’t cause any reaction with other medications."
