Toenail fungus. Not a pretty topic. But if you have this you don't want it. So read on, whether you like it or not.
Toenail fungus is also known as onychomycosis.
Toenail fungus is like an idiot light going on in your car, telling you something isn't right. If you've had this fungus for any length of time, it could be telling you that you have a weak immune system or possibly diabetes. This is partly because fungus will bloom in a place that doesn't have a healthy intestinal flora balance.
To get rid of toenail fungus, wear shoes and socks that breathe, and go barefoot when you can. This will reduce the moisture problem, since this fungus loves moisture.
"Reduce toxic load by eating more organic foods and avoiding chemicals. The stronger your GI tract, the less likely you’ll develop fungus. Of course, see a podiatrist to ensure the healthiest toes and feet."

Wearing shoes and socks that breath or going barefoot will NOT get rid of toe nail fungus. The only thing that works is prescription drugs. Tea tree oil and Vicks are a total waste of time and money. Check with your doctor!
