Actress and Osteoporosis Patient & Advocate Janet Hubert discusses how she is protecting her bone health.
My bone health prevention is calcium. I take about 1200 milligrams of liquid calcium with magnesium and vitamin D. I also take about 400 units of vitamin D additionally with that. Two or three times a week I have sardines and there’s not a lot of jumping around. I horseback ride still. So that’s I think one of the wonderful things about horseback riding is now that I post a lot more which puts a lot more impact on my spine, but hopefully not the wrong kind of impact. I am still here to tell it.
