Paula shares how she remained strong for her grandchildren after her daughter passed away from ovarian cancer.
Paula:
They talk to me and I just be there for them, hug them, whatever they need. We had, at the temple we belong to, they had a walk for TGen, I’m sure you’ve heard of TGen, and the rabbi’s mother has pancreatic cancer, and she has been treated at TGen. So we went, and they put up this like a wailing wall where they put this big thing of brown paper, and they made slits in it and gave you a piece of paper to make a wish to put in the wall. And my younger granddaughter went and did that, and she came over to me, and she said, “I made a wish that you be cured because I love you very, very much.”
