Barry Kluger

Barry Kluger is the brother in law of a breast cancer survivor, the proud uncle of an Asperger's nephew and..a father who lost his only child in 2001. Yet, every father's day, he is STILL a Dad.

The New York native is a veteran media executive and consultant at large who writes for the Arizona Republic, Jewish News, Arizona Woman, Phoenix Business Journal and on The New York Times on occasion. He lives with his wife, Hope Kirsch, a trial attorney, and their two Cockapoos, in Scottsdale, Arizona.

When Barry’s only child moved from New York to Arizona to join him and Hope, his second wife, all seemed perfect. Then, in 2001, he experienced every parent's worst nightmare when the 18 year-old, Erica, died in a sudden car accident near their home. Barry wrote “A Life Undone, A Father's Journey through Loss” as a memoir that celebrates Erica's life and chronicles the process of a man learning to live with a profound loss. He works with other fathers to help them deal with the grieving process and transitions that come with the loss of child so that they can move on with their lives while never forgetting the child they will always love.
