Dr. Susan Van Dyke
After completing 2 years of formal training in Internal Medicine, Dr. Van Dyke found what was to be the start of her dream job. She spent the next 3 years training intensely at Ohio State University and the University of Arizona Medical Centers. Her focus: Dermatology, particularly the cosmetic aspects. Founded in 1985, she formed her practice to deliver the best of Dermatology. In 1995, Van Dyke Laser & Skin became one of the first exclusively Cosmetic Dermatology practices in the world.
Van Dyke Laser & Skin is a designated Botox Cosmetic National Training Center, where Dr. Van Dyke trains and evaluates physicians in the use of Botox Cosmetic. Dr. Van Dyke is also an advisor for Allergan, makers of Botox Cosmetic and dermal fillers such as Cosmoderm, Cosmoplast and Juvederm and for Medicis, makers of Restylane and Dysport. She is a preceptor for Lumenis, the world’s largest manufacturer of cosmetic lasers and advisor to Thermage and Valeant/Kinerase Skincare.
Dr. Van Dyke is a sought after guest expert for television, radio, print and e-magazinefeatures on Cosmetic Dermatology, laser and skin care. She has appeared on all the local and national affiliate television stations and has been interviewed on numerous radio programs and sighted in dozens of publications. Dr. Van Dyke is a speaker for Lumenis, Solta Medical (Thermage/Fraxel), Valeant and SkinMedica.
Dr. Van Dyke has served on national committees for the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery focusing on the safe, professional delivery of office based medical procedures and treatments.
On a personal note Dr Van Dyke is active in the community with strong ties to local theater (Desert Stages) and ASU Gammage Public Events (The Love Committee). She is a member of the Board of Directors for The Crossroads ( a non profit that provides transitional living for men and women who want to recover from drug and alcohol abuse). She has served as Committee Chair for the major fundraiser for Crossroads 2007 and 2008 : 'Roads of Hope Charity Dinner Event.
