Candida recalls the procedure she had performed to erase her varicose vein and shares if it was painful.
Candida:
For the varicose vein we had the laser procedure, Endolaser, which is a proprietary treatment from Dr. Navarro. It wasn’t painful. They put a numbing cream on. No, it was a little, you felt a little tingle, or I can’t even remember, which is probably a good sign.
Afterwards they felt a little swollen and tight and definitely I wasn’t going out dancing the night afterwards. There was big bandage the whole way down and my husband came to pick me up because I was walking slowly, and I walked slowly for a few days, but I could still do gentle exercises and walk around. And then by a week it was fine. By two weeks I came back again for a little more, just for the spider veins, and then one more week, it was, I’d forgotten about it.
There were few little, it’s not even scars, but there’s little points where the laser goes, say five, all the way down the leg. And they are slightly visible now, but they recommend little silicone patches that can help with scarring if you are prone to sensitive skin, if you scar easily or have those raised scars, but I didn’t really, I tried them once. I didn’t even bother with them. It seemed fine.
