This has been happening to me as well for my whole life! I'm 21 now andmints and chocolate will do the trick! It is generally with semi-sweet chocolate (like chocolate chips or something with a high concentration of them in a food item) or dark chocolate. Strong minty things like listerine strips, altoids, or anything with the strong little mint flavor bursts that look like blue dots. My family has always given me grief for it, especially the chocolate, because I could never sneak any chocolate candies without getting caught :) ive never understood it, but just accepted it as life and learned to have a tissue or napkin with all chocolate just incase. It did happen to me more as a child and a little less now that I'm older. Perhaps I've developed a certain tolerance to chocolate?
