Sorry you feel this way about bringing suit against a company (Merck)that kept this serious "side effect" to themselves and people like you and I are now suffering. Yes, Fosamax has a 10 year half life so I only have 9 1/2 years to go. This is not about $$, it is about responsibility and accountability. I am, essentially, disabled and not able to perform my job at this time. In fact, I may not have a job to go back to. My job was only guaranteed for three months. I suffered with increasing pain for several years and feel that I have been a burden to my family for at least the last year. My activities have been severly limited and, therefore, I have not been able to enjoy my life to its fullest and as I knew it before Fosamax. Hang in there. Cee
